Daryl has worked as a chiropractor for 20 years and a Strength and Conditioning coach for 10 years. He has worked with the European Tour Performance Institute for 15 years and served as Deputy Director of the European Tour Performance Institute for the last 8 years. During that time, he has worked at over 400 tournaments on the European Tour including 15 British Opens, Seve Trophies and Solheim Cups and has been part of the European Team at 7 Ryder Cups. He was worked with athletes from all over the world in a wide range of sports including premier league footballers and Olympic athletes of all standards.
Daryl has completed extensive post graduate training and is currently doing a masters in Sports Medicine. His post graduate training has changed his philosophy and mode of practice. He is a qualified Strength and Conditioning coach and uses these principals for injury rehabilitation. His current interest is using exercise to reduce injury risk. Part of Daryl’s philosophy is to make every contact count with regards to exercise promotion and believes exercise is the most important thing someone can do for their general heath and to reduce their risk of injuries. For this reason it is great to liaise with HQ to help promote training and exercise for general health and reduced injury rates.
He has a special interest in tendinopathy, persistent/chronic pain and exercise promotion for health. He is registered with his governing body, The Chiropractic Association of Ireland.
